Animal imitator. 14 minutes in one. This is without a doubt one of the worst acts of the kind we have ever played. If it were not for the heads of animals that Mr. Hart uses in giving his imitations it would be hard to tell what imitation Mr. Hart was attempting. However, we have Mr. Hart on at a time that he cannot do much damage.
9 minutes, full stage. Wood. Miss Bradna dresses very well, has nice looking horses and does an act away from all other horse acts that we have played. It is a riding act and something of a novelty to vaudeville.
20 minutes in one. “Mudtown Minstrels”. Just as big a hit as ever. We have them on next to closing the show and they keep the audience going from the opening until the close of their act.
Shadowgraphist. 10 minutes in three. The work of this gentleman is the best of the kind I have ever seen. He does better work with his feet than other people in this same line can do with their hands. There is lots of comedy in the act and I feel sure it draws us some money.
Olio. 14 minutes in one. This is their third or fourth appearance here and both Mr. Kelly and Miss Violet have had something new in the way of wardrobe each time. This is without a doubt the neatest act that we have ever played and the singing of Mr. Kelly far above the average. In all, it is one of the best applause getting singing acts that we have played.
9 minutes in one. Imitation of Vesta Tilly, Lillian Russell, Marie Dresser. I did not consider this a good act. Her imitation of Marie Dresser is about the only thing that saves her.
5 shows. 18 minutes. Yankee monologue. I consider this far above the average three show act. Chas. Ernest was taken sick Tuesday night had to close. We gave Mr. Stewart his place on the bill and he did fully as well as Mr. Ernest.
A very good rapid working troupe of acrobats, the first act of the kind we have had this season so doubly acceptable. 9 min. full stage, 2 shows.
This girl is practically the hardest place on the bill was unquestionably the hit of the show. Her songs are not particularly new but she renders them in a most effective manner and is entitled to all she gets. 14 min. in one, 3 shows.
In a new sketch utilising the same characters they had before. The act is good although not screamingly funny. Girard’s quiet effective methods are amusing and the act is all right. 35 minutes, full stage, 2 shows.
