Title: Classed as a “tank art” through having a tank upon the stage. Capt. Sorcho’s vaudeville turn, removed from Coney Island, where it was a concession for a couple of seasons, looks good enough to go over the circuit once an interesting exhibit. It dwells almost wholly upon the equipment of a deep sea diver, and in a measure, as far as the limited tank will permit, gives an idea of a diver at work at the bottom of the ocean.
This is a tank act; man, woman and seal; carry own special tank and scenery. All their stunts are done under water – one remarkable feat is staying under water three minutes; should have received greater applause than they got. 12 min full stage; went fair.
Woman man and a trained seal. Worked in a small tank. 14 min. Full stage special set. Act consists of under water tricks which the seal immatates [sic]. Went very well all shows.
10 minutes f.s. open in one. This 15 year old girl created a sensation here by swimming to Boston Light, a feat that has baffled the strongest men swimmers for the last 25 years. It is 12 miles out into the ocean and against all kinds of cross currents. She was in the water over six hours. She is a very small girl, rather plump and attractive looking, and when she went on the stage to-day her size and girlish appearance got the audience at the start. We built a splendid set, better than anything we have ever had for Kellermann or Hoffmann, she is working in a tank similar to Kellermann’s. This afternoon she went big. Although it was very warm and muggy, we had a big audience, and to-night the house is jammed from top to bottom. People standing on all floors. As far as outside booking is concerned, it is doubtful whether there is enough to justify it, expect the price at which she can be secured.
This is very novel and exceedingly pretty act, and the feats of the two girls in the tank gained the closest attention from the entire house. Every trick they presented was warmly received and they finished strong. Both are pretty girls and refined and modest in their bearing. This act should cause a lot of favorable comment. Nothing lacking that I could see. Wood in 2. 10 minutes.

Two very pretty girls with superb figures who do the regulation tank stunts as done by their father and one the girls here previously, such as remaining under water for a long period, picking up forty or more coins from the bottom of the tank by the mouth, and otherwise proving themselves real mermaids. A very good novelty that scored strong with the holiday crowd.
Own set. 10 minutes. On account of the storm and lateness in setting this act we had to cut some of the water tricks of Odiva but the act went big.
Swimmers. Man and woman in a really wonderful act that held the audience Spellbound. Their performance is new, neatly done and is bound to be talked of. It is an act worth advertising, such as picking up 61 coins by mouth without rising to surface, and staying four minutes under water. The world’s record.
