Mary Quive and Paul McCarthy
This Piano-Act was sixteen minutes long.
Quive and McCarthy are musical comedy actors who are attempting their first vaudeville act. The act opens with McCarthy at the piano and Mary Quive on top of it. They sing a love song with good lyrics. McCarthy then sings a solo to give Quive some time to change. They sing “Loveland” for their finale and “Circus Day” for an encore. McCarthy is tall, handsome, and wears dress clothes.
Majestic Trio
The act was eleven minutes long.
Similar to Vardon, Perry, and Wilber, this trio sings and plays string instruments in “rathskeller” style. The trio is dressed in white with black braiding and plays banjos, mandolins, and guitars. They close with a rag number.
Ada Reeve
Ada Reeve headlined the show and sang several new songs.
Fanny Brice
The act was thirteen minutes long.
Fanny Brice, who originated in Burlesque and Ziegfeld’s “Follies”, sings several songs, one of which is a “Yiddish” number. She changes halfway through into eccentric white satin trousers and a red coat.
May Wolf
The act was nine minutes long.
May Wolf sings. She opened with a classical number. She has a strong, well trained soprano voice.
Jeanette Spellman
The act was nine minutes long.
Jeanette Spellman is a good looking singer.
