Two coloured men who do a rolling-skate act, one of them doing comedy. The straight man is very good, in a small way, the comedian amounts to nothing. The act is a good one for an early place on the bill. 12 min. full stage, 3 shows.
NR 3. Two colored men in a trick and comedy roller skating act. It has been so long since we have had anything in the shape of roller skating that the act really seemed something of a novelty. One of the men is very clever on the skates, and the other is pretty fair comedian and manages to extract considerable laughter from his work. It is a good turn. 12 minutes, full stage.
Garden 4, 8 min, 3 shows. Very old timey skating act alleged comedy make up. It is so long since we have had a skating act in the house – I think 8 or 9 years – that the falls these fellows made the women laugh. They are not much on fancy skating, but the act went all right here for an opener though I would not advise it for the other cities. They are very cheap and cheesy as to make up.
