The brothers have a standard shooting act.
This sharpshooting act was eight minutes long on the full stage.
The performance opens with a man in hunting costume who does a pantomime. The scene is a yard exterior with a noisy parrot in a cage on the side. A young French girl in a short dress then does some clever rifle and revolver shooting. She shoots brittle balls which are held up by target stands. It is unclear whether she or the man is “De La Velle”.
The dressing has the attractiveness of oddity and the layout of feats keeps the act running smoothly
