Paul Barnes

Monologue and parodies. 18 minutes, street in one. Went very well with us. While he is not a big hit, he has always pleased our audiences.

Matthews & Ashley

20 min. in one. Same act as given here before, with the exception of the closing parodies. The witty lines got a good deal of applause, and the parodies went very well. Each one received a good hand.

Harry Fields

Parodies and stories. Went fair. 13 min. in one.

Fred Dupree

Monologue and parodies. 17 minutes in 1. Made good with everything he did. Good values.

Fred Dupree

Monologist and comedian. He has a line of parodies and talk that apparently pleased pretty well. It was given a number of good solid laughs and the act finished moderately strong. Would term this about fair, and that’s all. 18 minutes, street in one.

Fred Dupree

In 1. Time 10. Parodist and comedian. Engaging personality, good material in songs and talk. Big hit.

Rory & Lee

Hebrew Comedians and parody singers. 15 minutes in 1. Good material. Going big.

Raymond & Caverly

17 min. in one. Act is well known on the circuit. Give a lot of good parodies that were new and held the important spot with their accustomed ease. One of the best German duos in Vaudeville.

Chas. Smith and Frank J. Bryan

YRR. These people had a pretty hard place on the hill following everybody, and for the first three or four minutes it did not seem as though they were going to reach their audience, but they picked up toward the end and went quite strong. They have several original parodies and they know how to sing them. 20 minutes in one.

Joe Flynn

Comedian and parody singer. Flynn, of course, had a very bad place on the bill and had to work hard for every bit of recognition that he got, but he ended all right, and I look for him to make a big hit to night. He writes all of his material and has some parodies which are as good as any which I have ever heard, especially the one on “Hiawatha.” He also reads some newspaper notes that are very funny. 17 minutes in one.
