The Gene Mueller Trio

The Gene Mueller Trio does a hoop routine. They throw boomerang hoops out over the audience and jump down after them.

Marco

The act was twelve minutes long on the full stage. Marco is a shadowgraphist who wears a tuxedo. A lighting apparatus and lens are placed on center stage and he stands in front of the lens to make shadows with his bare hands.

Fitch Cooper

The act was fourteen minutes long. Fitch Cooper (according to the program) is the originator of the musical hand saw. He dresses as a “rube” character and a red wig in the style of Jimmy Barry. He imitates animals and steamboat and train whistles through the use of his voice, a saw, a violin, and a guitar. He does comedy talk throughout.

Farro

The act was ten minutes long on the full stage. Farro is a shadowgraphist who forms shadows into shapes with his hands. He makes a rabbit’s head and the Romeo and Juliet balcony scene, among others.

Lottie Mayer

This diving act was twelve minutes long on the full stage. Lottie Mayer is a large, but well proportioned female diver with an “alluring” smile. She opens with a song about “splashing” and steps off to the side behind a barrier to change into her bathing suit. She hangs her lingerie on a nearby tree limb and dives into the tank. While she dives, a tramp walks by and steals her undergarments. She does a number of diving tricks, all of which she announces herself.
