Brindamour & Company

Magician, 22 minutes full stage special set. Manifests considerable ability in freeing himself from various restraining devices, and his rope ties recall again the days of the famous Davenport Bros. He is quite clever in this department. He was greeted with a veritable ovation here, this being his home town, and the public turned out enmasse to greet him. It bids fair to be a very successful engagement.

Owen Clark

Master magician. 6 min. F.S. During the brief time Mr. Clark is on the stage, he does several immensely clever tricks, but his act is all too brief. Speaking of this, he said that while he could do fifteen minutes, it was impossible to do it and open the show, as the last ten minutes of his act consists of talking, and is full of comedy. MEMPHIS, TENN.

Adler and Arline

15 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. Man and woman in a “bunk” hypnotic act. The woman announces her partner is ill, and calls for volunteers from the audience. Adler responds, and while in a cataleptic state introduces imitations of various animals and birds, all of which were very well received.

Van Hoven

Eccentric magician. 16 minutes in one. This boy doesn’t do much in the line of mystery, but he doubled up our audiences Monday and had some difficulty in breaking away. We moved him down to the seventh place on the bill, where he will make good. He works with two youngsters and during the time they are on the stage, the audience is hysterical. (Scranton)

Fisher & King

“Comedy Magicians” 14 min, in 3. Went very good.

Wallace Galvin

Magician. This man is a very clever worker, has a nice personality and there is considerable comedy injected into his act. A very nice act, well worth playing for No. 1 or 2 spot in any bill. 17 min. in one.
