J. Warren Keane & Grace White

16 min. The man is doing his old routine of sleight-of-hand tricks and handles it as well as ever. The woman introduced several piano numbers during the act and assists him in one or two tricks. Act went fairly well, finishing to a liberal hand.

Arthur Lloyd

“The Elite Entertainer in Magic” – makes-up straight, very neat, has a good line of tricks, especially his card tricks are very slick. 11 min, full stage; went good.

Houdini

30 minutes f.s. Garden set. Doing the needle trick and water torture cell. Putting them over in good shape. Wednesday noon, he performed the strait jacket stunt, suspended in midair from the top of the theatre entrance, before a crowd of 50,000 people, who completely filled the Tremont street mall of Boston Common, facing the theatre. Has some other challenges lined up for the balance of the week.

Leona LaMar

“The Girl of 1000 Eyes.” Brought back for return engagement because I felt that for this bad week there were enough gullible people who would attend to have their fortunes told to warrant a return engagement. While the act to me is a palpable cheap offering, there is no doubt it does get a certain class of people and has some draft.

Mysterious Moore

Magician, opening with card tricks, good line of talk, finishes with the escape from the trunk, little old but went fairly well. 17 minutes full stage.

The Great Le Roy

Assisted by Ruth St. Clair. “The 20th Century Daring and Defying Wizard”; uses mail bag, straight-jacket, etc.; stated to-day that he changes his act Friday and Saturday – different stunts. His exhibition at noon to-day from the Longley Building before an immense crowd was a great success froma [sic] financial point; going big; 35 min.

Leona Lamar

“The Girl with One Thousand Eyes.” Mental Telepathy Act: This lady makes a nice appearance; very neat; she is blindfolded as she answers all questions very rapidly and correctly as stated so by all who asked questions of her. Such as age, time of birth, names, lost articles, about positions, etc., etc. Went rather slow at matinee, but better at night; but people are beginning to talk about the act, and I’m sure it will go great all week. 22 min. in two.

Leona Lemar

Ass. By man who works in audiennce [sic]. Miss Lamar is the best act of mind reading we have ever played and should be a big money getter for us. Went well. 20 min. beautifull [sic] wardrobe and stage setting.

Florence Duo

Man and woman in two 15 min. A little magic and slight of hand work with cards and orther [sic] work such as the above. Man does all the work the woman being a wall flower. Went well.

The Sharrocks

Mind reading specialty, 18 minutes (2) S.drop. The mind reading business is very cleverly done, the rapidly with which the lady answers the various questions is truly astonishing, and there is just the right vein of comedy to keep everyone thoroughly amused throughout.
