Green Bros

On at 1.39, 10 min, full stage; 3 shows.  Baseball jugglers.  An excellent opening act and better than the average of a 3-a-days.  Their manipulation of baseballs, bats, and bases is very good, particularly the rapid-fire work with the bats.  Comedy element is not particularly strong

Sawadas, Jap. Jugglers

12 min. F.S. 3 shows.  On at 7:28.  This is a characteristic Japanese juggling act, prettily dressed and quite expert, both in juggling and balancing.  The work of the woman on the table, balancing barrels, Jap umbrella, etc., on her feet was especially applauded.  Altogether a very showy act.  Have two children in their act, but owing to the trouble with the local Society last time they played here, they were not allowed to go on.

James Harrigan

Tramp Juggler.  Remains the same.  Has some new material.  Secured quite a number of “forced” giggles.  17 min. in one

Reford & Winchester

Expert jugglers in burlesque. Good house-warmer, being swift and expert, the comedy part of being very good. The hoop-rolling especially worthy of comment. Also catching apples, cabbages, potatoes and other articles on end of fork held in teeth. Applause and laughter constant to a swift finish. Strongly recommended for this palace. Spec. drop in 4. 13m. Cuts ordered: Throwing apples to and from Gallery. Using lighted torches. Making bluff to throw basket of apples to audience.

Green Brothers

Base-ball Burl. Jugg:-10min. F.S. 3 shows.  On at 6:23.  This is a very good opener.  One work straight, the other eccentric.  Their work is rapid and expert.  The work with the clubs, after the manner of the —- get a good hand as it —–. Closed well.  Would start off a show well in any house.

Geo. Whalen

Baton juggler and story teller.  Local act that is all right for our purpose; might do to open the show in the other houses.  13 min. open and close in 1, 3 shows.

James Harrigan

Tramp juggler. His monologue did not go very well Monday afternoon but did somewhat better in the evening, seems to have a little too much roasting of the audience to take well here, open in one, goes to two closes in one 16 minutes.

Eldora and Norine

3 shows, 18 min. open full stage, close in 1. A good juggler, who does a variety of work, but lacks finish and personality. All right in the 3-show section, which will always be his limit.

Charles Hara

European juggler, something on the order of Kara. His act is even better than I expected from reports received from other points and his work here is quite finished; full stage 12 minutes.

Eldora & Norine

GRR 3. This man is an exceptionally clever juggler. He carries a young man as assistant, impersonating a woman, dressed in oriental costume. I do not think this man will ever rise above the three-a-day section. His wardrobe and paraphernalia remains the same as seen for the past 3 years, although it is a useful act. Full stage, close in one. 23 mins.
