Mr. and Mrs. Breen

Double juggling specialty. This is the original Breen of Derenda and Breen, and in connection with his wife he has put together a very clever act. He has quite a strong vein of comedy, and while there is nothing especially startling about his juggling work, it is all good and they do a very satisfactory turn. 12 minutes, open full stage and close with about three minutes in one.

The Gagnoux

Juggling act, man and woman. They have a series of very old tricks which they do rather poorly, the woman being especially bad. Full stage closes in one. 11 minutes.

Prince Kokin

GHR-2 – Japanese juggler. This is the same Kokin whom we used to play seven or eight years ago, and he still remains, as he was at that time, one of the most graceful performers in his line on the stage. He does nothing whatever that is at all startling, but what he does do is cleverly done, and he manages to make a great deal out of a small amount of material. It is a very good act from start to finish. 17 minutes; full stage.

Maxsmith Duo

3 shows, 10 min. in 3. This is something of a novelty, although it could never be featured a big act. They balance themselves on the tops of ladders, and while in this position juggle clubs and balls and execute a cake-walk.

Wilbur Amos

Juggler. He makes up as a white-faced clown, and while he does not do anything particularly startling, his work is all cleverly performed and he closes with the old plate spinning trick which has not been seen for so many years that it is practically new. It is quite a good act. 14 minutes, open full stage, and close in one.

Christy and Willis

Miss Willis does some toe dancing, looks well, but we say right here that Christy is the best comedy juggler, or even straight we ever played and act could make good in a harder position. Full stage, can close in one.

Juggling Normans

8 min. F.S. This is an act after the manner of “The Mowatts”, but not in their class—five boys who are exceedingly clever in the Indian swinging line. Perform the same double, triple and quadruple evolutions that they did before, both standing two and three high. A fair act but too slow for a closer, especially following such a fast act as “The Mowatts” who played here only a short time ago.

Derenda and Breen

Two men in a club swinging and juggling act; one of them made up straight and the other as a comedian. These people have improved their act wonderfully since they last appeared, and it is really an exceptionally clever turn. The club work is as good as that of almost any team we have played and comedy is quite acceptable. 12 minutes, full stage.

Herbert Lloyd

This man was undoubtedly the hit of the show – but then the show is not a great one. He had many surprises up his sleeve, and he introduces them with such rapidity that he had the audience guessing all the time. He is a close second to W.C. Fields, and imitated the latter in many things. Very good act.

Zara and Stetson

A man and a woman in an exhibition of baton juggling. There is not, of course, in an act of this kind, an opportunity to show a great deal of versatility. It is simply one thing right over and over, but I think they are about the best in this line that I have ever seen, and they do a very good small act which will give satisfaction in an early part of the bill. 10 minutes, full stage.
