Mme. Herrmann

12 min. F.S. Spec. This illusion act is well staged and held the audience fairly well.

Wallace Galvin

(18 mins.) Just a fair sleight-of-hand act. His best trick is done with eggs in which a boy from the audience is used for comedy purposes. Got some laughs and closed to a fair hand.

Lolo, The Mystic

25 minutes full stage. The best mind reading act we have ever played. Will be a good attraction anywhere.

“Enchantment.”

20 minutes f.s. This illusion is now in very good shape and ought to be a feature on a bill anywhere. The groupings are worked out and some of the pictures are really beautiful. It is an improvement over the old living pictures form the fact that the audience is more or less mystified as to how the groupings appear and disappear.

Lolo, The Mystic

Sixteen year old Sioux Indian girl. A mind reading act. Best we have ever played. Full Stage.

Adelaide Hermann

As “Choliostro, the Master of Mysteries.” Mrs. Hermann, attired in a rather striking costume of black, embroidered tights and a flowing cape, presented some new novelties in the magic line, giving a performance that was interesting throughout. Her illusions were well done and her small magic caught the house. The patriotic finish with the American flag and one of her company holding a pocket flash lamp and dressed up as the Goddess of Liberty, naturally received vociferous applause from our very patriotic audience. Own set in 4. Time 20 min.

The Van Der Koors

Comedy tricksters and illusionists, two men. Good. Full stage, closing in one.

“Babe” Ruth – Assisted by Wellington Cross

(27 mins.) Despite the fact that Ruth just managed to reach here in time to go on for the matinee and was suffering from a heavy cold, his act got over in great shape with a capacity audience on Monday. The help of Mr. Cross is a great thing for Ruth and I doubt if any other artist I know could do as much. Our audience appeared to be equally surprised and entertained and the finish, with the mind reading stunt that Cross has done in vaudeville before, is an ideal bit of business for this act.

Sawing a Woman in Two

This act is the talk of the town — everywhere you go you hear about it — of course they all want to know how it is done. You can hear them talking about it as you pass along telling each other how it is done. Everyone seemed pleased with the act. We surely will do business with it to-morrow and Saturday. 20 min.

Frescott & Hope Eden

14 min in 2 ½ spec.   Nicely staged mind reading act. Has been widely advertised and they gave a very satisfactory performance. Closed to a fair hand.
