Princess Rajah

The Cleopatra Dance much to my surprise went big; she is doing the dance in a modified form from what I saw at the Fifth Avenue last week and feel that act will be received very good all week. Yet I do not feel that it is the right kind of an act for a small city. 12 min. full stage.

Mlle. Bianci

A very pretty woman in a series of classical dances that are beautifully done. In the larger cities the act should prove a surefire success. She uses three assistants with her on the stage and employs several lamp operators. Four dances, with changes of scenery and costume presented. While the applause was not terrific the act went over well and is creating considerable comment. Believe the act will draw us money during the week. Own scenery in 3. Time 13.

Begar Sisters

Whirlwind dancers, 8 min. full stage. Went very good.

Loie Fuller’s “Ballet of Light.”

20 min. F.S. Act ran as described in Boston criticism. Consists in a number of Loie and Ida Fuller’s dances with elaborate light effects and seven girls instead of one. Rather a disappointment as practically nothing was introduced that our audience has not seen before. Went fairly well with this afternoon’s audience, but I don’t not believe will create the same furor here as she did in Boston, especially as she is following Hoffman instead of preceding her.

Mlle. Dazie

18 minutes f.s. opening in 1. Dazie is certainly the whole act. Her dancing, personality, alone make it worth the money but the pantomime itself in my estimation is not as good a vaudeville feature as “Paris by Night.”

Mlle. Dazie

This act is all too well-known to require comment. It held the audience in rapt attention and got strong applause at the finish. There is no doubt that it will draw money, particularly because of the novelty. 20 Min. F.S.

Hearn & Rutter

Dancing act. Two neat appearing boys in a lively dancing number that will get by nicely anywhere. Opened the show in good shape. Olio drop in 1. 11 min.

Mlle. Dazie

29 min. F.S. Big advance hand. Second presentation of this act in this house. Stronger and more artistic than ever. Mlle. Dazie has perfected the part and her dancing, as well as her dancing, is delightful. Stage setting, costuming, everything finished and brilliant, leaving nothing to be desired in any detail. The applause after the tragic finish was strong.

Hearn and Rutter

11 minutes in 1. A mighty good dancing act and went first rate this afternoon.

Mignonette Kokin

13 minutes in 1. Miss Kokin is rather pleasing but this afternoon failed to get much applause until her last two dances, when she got a good hand.
