Cabaret act, 14 minutes full stage special set. 9 people. Some of the dances are very clever, and well-received. Instrumental selections are not of particularly great merit. The scenic and lighting effects are extremely attractive, and make a pretty picture.
9 min. Man and woman in a very high-class dancing act including two double numbers and one single by the man who does some sensational legmania work. The dances are oddly constructed and well executed. Received a big hand.
20 min. A very pretty dancing ensemble with Miss Swan Wood, Florence Burns and Jessie Rogge as soloists and supported by eight dainty dancers in a series of classic and character numbers. Their program consists of seven different numbers, all beautifully executed and forming a beautiful stage picture. Act was very well liked and warmly applauded.
11 minutes f.s. Special set. Three girls and seven men in gypsy pastimes and Russian dancing. Some of the work is really out the ordinary, and the act scored quite a hit.
The later consisting of Signor Bonfiglio, eight dancing girls and a director. Five dances are given, as follows: Les Enfants Amusement, Les Roses et Noires, Divertisment Classique Agagio et Variatio and Finale, d’Ensemble. This is a decidedly artistical, classy offering in which each and every participant shows to excellent advantage. Decided personal success for Mlle Dazie and Bonfiglio. Thorough attention throughout, punctuated with applause and a strong finish. Special plush drop in one and Cyc same in four. 17 minutes.
In Terpsichorean Classics. Special plush drops, 13 minutes. This is a very good dancing act and did very well for us. It is hardly fair to criticise them too severely for the reason that Mr. Burns was ill and compelled to lay off a performance.
18 minutes open in one, close f.s. This is only fair, both dance very well, but somehow the act does not get over as well as might be expected.
14 minutes in one. A good double dancing act, doing pretty much the same stuff as when here before.
Novelty dancers, man and woman. A very neat dancing act which went very good. 10 min. in one.
9 min. in one. This young man has improved a great deal since he was last here. In spite of his Laddie Cliff idiosyncrasies, he certainly has talent and he is going to be a standard act, if he continues to improve. His dancing at the close is especially commendable, and got a big hand.
