Marion Morgan’s Classic Dancers

17 min. This is another high-class dancing act with eight dancers. Their series includes Egyptian, Greek and Roman numbers, prettily staged and each number is preceded by a pose. Dancing is splendidly done and was well rewarded.

Ruth St. Denis

33 min. Assisted by Ted Shawn, two other dancers and a ballet of six girls. All the dancers are of the classical kind, beautifully staged and dressed and splendidly executed. Each number held strict attention from a crowded house, there was liberal applause for each dance and at the finish Miss St. Denis was forced to answer several curtain calls.

Mlle. Maryon Vadie & Co.

A high class dancing act with a program consisting of seven numbers, three of them by Mlle. Vadie and three by a ballet of six young girls, finishing with a number by Vadie and the ballet. Very prettily staged and the dancing is excellent. Was received with liberal applause. (18 min)

Alice Els & Bert French

12 min. A very spectacular dancing act called “The Lure of the North” with a marvelous stage representing a mountain of snow formed by soap bubbles. A distinct dancing novelty that registered an applause hit.

Cartwell and Harris

15 minutes f.s. One of the best dancing acts, man and woman, that we played and altogether too good for an early spot on a bill. Went big.

Marini & Bronski

Two Russian dancing girls with a copy of the dances as done by Pavlowa and Mordkin. A very pretty act. 12 Min. F.S.

Dan Burke & Co.

Dancing novelty, full stage, special set, 5 people. Good act, the dancing being clever, one instance of this by one of the ladies being one of the most beautiful and skillful interpretations of the art of the Terpsichore that has ever graced the Bijou stage. Her dance is responsible for much of the success of the offering which is well put on and well enacted from beginning to end.

Lubowska

12 min. The dancing of this young Russian woman is entirely different than vaudeville has ever seen and the audience was held in rapt attention through each of her three numbers. She wears some wonderful costumes and on looks, novelty and merit of dancing, the act is one of the most artistic vaudeville can boast of and earned liberal applause.

The Great Richards

Man and electrician. A beautiful offering of dances with electrical effects. Some very good toe dancing. 14 min. Went good.

Whitefield, Ireland and Co.

In “The Belle of Bingville.” 13 minutes in one. Special drop. This act has been changed somewhat since their first visit. They have added an eccentric dancer, and now close with a rube tango and maxixs [sic] to trombone accompaniment. A hit.
