Albertina Rasch & Co.

22 min. This is undoubtedly the most diversified ballet offering in vaudeville. Seven numbers are given in four which Mlle. Rasch is the principal dancer. Individual numbers are also introduced by the other members of her company which includes eight coryphées. The act was very well received, both individually and collectively.

Ten Eyck & Weily

10 min. A very classy dancing act consisting of three numbers of a different character than what we have been having. Their first, “The Artist and the Model” number is the prettiest and gave them a very good start, but their following numbers are rather light. They, however, finished to fairly good hand.

“Made in Philly”

One hour and 18 minutes. The big Summer Revue has already established itself as one of the biggest features every offered on our stage. This is its third week and it just went as big today as during its first week. Several changes were made including the introduction of specialties by Vivienne Segal, a Philadelphia girl, who scored a tremendous success in the “The Blue Paradise;” Edna Wroc, a toe dancer, and Elizabeth Cope & Jack Figel, society dancers. The whole act went with speed and held the audience amused from start to finish.

Ruby Cavell & Company

“An Up-to-date Oddity.” Two women, twin dancers, and a man violomist [sic]: Russian dancing, toe dancing and also some singing by one of the dancers. Special setting. 10 minutes. Full stage. This act went very poor indeed.

Mosconi Bros.

7 min. These boys are Philadelphians, but aside from local interest, their dancing commanded frequent outbursts of applause. The Charlie Chaplin finish scored unusually well and they were rewarded with a big hand.

Vanda Hoff

In “Misam’s Court Dancer.” 17 min. A big dancing spectacle presented by B. St. Denis, a brother of Ruth St. Denis in the act she presented in vaudeville. The present offering includes six other dancers and there is a pantomime story staged from the tales of Mohammedan Court. It is a spectacular and highly colored offering and shows something new along this line of dance productions.

Bessie Clayton

25 min. This well known premier dancer did four members including her famous toe dance finish, all of which went over with the usual big applause. She carries an orchestra of six musicians which played several ragtime numbers between the dances adding considerably to the success of Miss Clayton’s act. She finished to a big hand.

Adelaide & Hughes

20 min. In a series of new and original numbers, these dancers scored the biggest applause hit they have ever registered in this house. Following two modern dances of their own, they finished with a pantomime called “The Cat and the Canary” which is one of the most novel and beautiful that any dancing act has ever presented here and it scored a tremendous hit.

Joan Sawyer

19 min. Assisted by Signor Rudolph and her Persian garden Orchestra. This is her second appearance here and she was a bigger hit then on her first visit. She did four numbers, each one applause winner. Her waltz is one of the most beautiful dances we have ever had here and it scored a tremendous hit. At the finish of her dancing, the audience applauded for several minutes until Miss Sawyer was forced to make a little speech of thanks.

Warren & Templeton

12 min. Two boys in a very good comedy dancing act. Both are good eccentric dancers and get some good comedy out of the little talk and a song one of them uses. Act went well all the way through and finished to a good hand.
