Marion Morgan’s Art Dancers

26 min. A holiday audience that crowded the theatre to its capacity displayed profound interest in this artistic spectacle. It is undoubtedly the best of all classical dance productions, both from a spectacular standpoint and the unison of the dancers. The beautiful stage setting won a hand, there were frequent outbursts of applause during the act and it finished very strong.

Six American Dancers

Three men and three women – special blue plush drop; everything; made a nice appearance in their nattie [sic] uniforms; their dancing as well as everything pertaining to their act was very neat – their dancing was, from remarks that I heard from a quite a number of people, liked better than the old act. 15 min. full stage; went big all day.

Albertina Rasch & Co.

15 min. This is unquestionably one of the very best of the classical dancing numbers in vaudeville. She has an excellent program of numbers varied in character and all very well and the best drilled group of coryphees [sic] of any of the acts we have seen. The act was a big applause hit.

Linne’s Classic Dancers

17 minutes. Hans S. Linne presents this dance number, featuring Mlle. Una. She is supported by a ballet of eight girls. A varied program is given and all the numbers are nicely executed. Although handicapped by having no orchestra for their music, the dancers made a very good impression and finished strong.

Harold DuKane Co.

Man and two women in full stage special set. 15 min. A beautiful dancing offering. Beautiful wardrobe and hansome [sic] stage setting. The Act pleased a good many but not a majority of our patrons. Went fair.

Harold Du Kane, June Edwards & Gladys Taylor

In their own new “Futuristic Dancing Spectacle” – special set – the audience did not seem to care for this kind of dancing, as this afternoon they did not get a hand, and this evening not much better; 15 min. full stage.

Dan Burke and Girls

In “The Old Master.” 20 minutes f.s. Special set. This is a pretty set. The story of an old dancing master, living in the shadow of Drury Lane Theatre in London, whose pupil is about to make her debut as a dancer. While she is at the theatre, dancing, the old man sees in his dreams the various stars he has brought out in years gone by. The setting is quaint and prettily lighted, the dancing exceptionally good, and the whole interwoven into an appealing story. The act went over big at both shows Monday.

Vanda Hoff & Co of 10

“The Dancing Girl of Delhi.” 22 minutes f.s. Two special sets. Dancing act staged by Brother St. Denis. The scenic effects and costumes are beautiful. In fact, the setting is superior to that provided by Miss St. Denis for her own act this season. Held the interest and closed to a good hand.

Hale & Paterson

12 min. These two dancers assisted by the Versatile Sextette were such a big hit that they fairly stopped the show. For speed action this act overshadows anything of the kind we have had. There is not a dull minute in it and it should be a big applause winner anywhere.

Evan-Burrows Fontaine

Assisted by J. Sheldon & Co. 25 min. As a classic dance offering, this is entirely different from most of those we have had and therefore proved a novelty in some respects. It is draggy, however, owing to the long introductory numbers before the principals appear. It is very prettily staged and costumed and drew fair amount of applause.
