Cook added several new steps. He dances with an ease that a very few have who do his style of work. Sylvia has discovered the secret of reducing. She has never looked better in a new dressy dress and an almost trim figure.
Lizzie Daly
Scene is laid in military camp and she wears a military costume. She does some old school hard shoe dancing and a drumhead pedestal dance. The lights darken to show a motion picture of her dancing and when they come back on she is wearing the outfit from the film and dances more.
Hathaway and Siegel
Miss Siegel’s appearance is too much like club performer. With smarter dressing and less storytelling she would succeed, as her dancing is good and she looks well. Hathaway does the dancing for two and pulls up the act.
Five Romanos
Best work is by a toe dancer who seems to be less than the Gerry age. Several real drop splits are accomplished in rapid succession and the toe work is excellent. The others form a chorus and as a quartet perform all the regulation tricks,
Caprice, Lynn and Faye
The three girls are attractive, shapely and can dance well. “Agnes Lynn carries off the palm with a short skirt creation of black velvet puffed into crinoline shape by a billowing cloud of light blue chiffon. The effect of this combination and Miss Lynn’s blond complexion is striking.” Faye and Caprice wear pink.
