Keefe Lancton & Wheeler

3 men in one. 15 min. One working comedy orther [sic] two straight, Singing in harmony and solo work. Voices good and a good line of songs went well also. Went big.

Armstrong and Ford

“The English Johnnie and the Cop.” A good act. The Englishman is one of the best we have seen and there are lots of laughs scattered through the act. Also one clever song. Made good and received a number of encores. In one

Maud Muller and Ed Stanley

Miss Fuller wears some stunning gowns, is a great feeder for the man and is double voiced. She gets an operatic selection over in great shape. The act consists of some bright patter, singing and Miss Muller gets a laugh out of every line; in fact, they are the laughing hit of the show. Eighteen minutes in one.

Billy McDermott

Tramp comedian. 18 minutes in one. Makes one think of Nat Wills. He does not use Wills’ stuff but has some good stuff of his own. I think he could do down as far as number five or, six and make good. The audience was immensely pleased with imitation of songs. (Springfield, Mass)

Olga Petrova

In comedy and tragedy. 16 min in one. All that had been said of this remarkable woman in advance of her coming was maintained, and more. She made tremendous hit at both performances, particularly her song in which she imitates a parrot and a cat. Madam Petrova is the big hit in a show of big hits, and was given curtain after curtain at each Sunday performance. (Indianapolis)

Ada Reeve

26 min F.S. A crowded house greeted Miss Reeve most appreciatively, and she certainly could not doubt her welcome. Miss Reeve is a true artiste right to her very finger-tips and is something away from the work of any comedians we have ever had here. There was nothing grotesque or seemy, and she got everything out of her songs which she offered that would be possible for any artist. Every number received big applause, and although she was scheduled for four numbers with an encore, she was compelled to give six, and several curtain calls followed.

Little Lord Robert

“Smallest comedian in the world.” 17 min. opening 11 min. F.S. and closing in 6 min. in one. Assisted by a nurse. He sings and dances, and does some good comedy. When closing in one, answers questions prepared in advance, which creates lots of fun and laughter. A big hit.

Josie Heather

English comedian. 18 minutes. Olio in one. Miss Heather is a very neat dresser. Her first two songs did not go over very well. Her last song is really a hit. Her salary is entirely too high. I would consider $200 a good price for this act.

Tony Hunting and Corinne Frances

20 minutes in one. Garden. “The Love Lozenges.” Here is a most welcome addition to the standard acts in one. Good, clean comedy, a couple of new songs, and some clever eccentric dancing by Hunting. Went big at both shows to-day.

Tony Hunting and Corinne Francis

Presenting their comedy skit “The Love Lozenges.” She is nicely dressed girl with a sweet voice and received big hand for her rendition of two songs. Hunting has some good comedy which with his dancing earned him good hands at both shows. Time 17 in one.
