2 shows, 9 min., full stage. Quite a neat dressed and worked bicycle turn, and considering the reduced number of people in the audience at the time when she appeared, the act went very nicely.
2 shows, 8 min, full stage. These men are foreign performers, and almost all of their work is accomplished on unicycles. It has the customary finish that always goes with the work of entertainers from the other side, with the exception of the comedians, and was well received all through. It went strong with our regular audience.
Loop the Loop, 11 minutes, full stage. Lottie Brandon, managed by Tom Eck. The open…Brandon riding a fast half mile on a home trainer… she goes onto the loop, which is a spectacular … and the contrivance is well enough worked to be fairly… there being just enough doubting Thomases to cause talk and controversy, hence increases business. Possible is as good a drawing card as we have ever played.
3 shows. 17 minutes. Full stage. These two young fellows first appeared on one of the original Cycle Whirls, and are both quite good trick riders. One of them straight, and the other does the comedy work, making up as a tramp in imitation of Fred St. Onge. From a three-a-day point of view the act can be called first class.
Loop the Loop. Act of a nondescript character, seems to interest from its novelty as well as mystery; May make a decided sensation in some houses; keeps the audience guessing, which in itself is of merit. A hard act to pass upon. Full stage. Time 8 minutes
The spinning cyclist. The best trick rider we have ever known. Full stage.
One woman and five girls with a moderately good bicycle act. Nothing startling in any of their work but none of it is really bad. They got by with a moderate degree of success. Finished fairly strong. Garden in 5, 13 minutes.
14 min. F.S. This is a fair act as cycle acts go and makes a good opener. One man works straight, the other tramp comedian. The comedy is lacking, but the work on the unicycle was particularly commendable and got a good hand. There is no question but what the day of the bicycle act, as far as this house is concerned, is about over. Of all the acts we have played this season, Wilson was the only one who created any impression at all.
On at 2:00, 12 minutes full stage. While the comedian of this act has some very good stunts on the unicycle, the act as a whole is a bit slow and this afternoon did not raise any great amount of enthusiasm.
Comedy bycyclists [sic], two men both comedians, plenty of laughs. Comedy is rather boisterous but they like it here and the act went well. 15 minutes full stage.
