9 min in full stage. Well known dog act made a good opener.
The family consists of a man and woman and three horses. A nice act, allright to play in order to have something different but they made no great impression. The act lacks class. 10 minutes full stage.
The Great Wild Animal Roper. The Major gives a talk of 15 minutes, with a screen picture how he captures Wild Animals alive; very interesting. This went rather tame. 15 min. in one.
(12 mins.) A very pretty animal act that gave a very nice opener. Went well.
The first part of this went rather tame, received a few hands, but when the leaping hounds started to do their leaping every leap was greeted with laughter and hands, and at the finish received a great hand. 15 min.
It struck me that this act is not quite as satisfactory as when we had it on previous occasions. It doesn’t seem to have the thrills and the life and the dogs are not as well taken care of as they used to be, looking somewhat soiled. A very good act but I question its being worth what we pay for it. 12 minutes full stage.
Well known act full of life and snap that made a good send off to the show. 8 minutes full stage.
(6 mins.) This is a remarkable and interesting novelty. The seal works alone on the stage and goes through a fast routine of tricks. A very good opener.
(11 mins.) Same act given here several times. Good routine of showy tricks and did very well as an opener.
9 minutes FS. Special set. We featured the 70 snow white pigeons in this act, and most of the house remained in to see them. Starts a bit slow with the pantomime, but the finish with the pigeons brought a round of applause all over the house. Pleasing closing feature.
