2 men assistants. Time 18. Open in 2, to 1, F.S. and close in 2. Certainly a wonderful animal worhty [sic] of all the praise she has received. Her roller skating, needle threading, and cigarette smoking are little short of miraculous. Her work is quiet and devoid of the noise that characterizes most animal acts.
An educated dog act. Works in one. 11 minutes. A good novelty act.
20 min. F.S. Same act as offered here with some variations and improvement. A great children’s act for a holiday week. Plenty of fun and laughter, strong close after their bicycle-riding finish.
One of the best acts of the kind that we play and an improvement even over what they gave us last year. Great value for the money. 18 Min. F.S.
In my opinion the best act of its kind in the business 25 Min. Full Stage. Can close in one.
12 min. full stage—Nice little act, that please the ladies and children, the dogs having the appearance of being well looked after and work willingly. This is a pleasing turn for the early part of the bill.
14 min. in 1—Rattling good comedy, singing and dancing turn for midway place in the programme. The finish is with a small dog, and the canine scored a solid hit, especially with the ladies.
One of the most original and cleverest of the many animal acts in vaudeville. It is causing a cyclone of laughter with the audiences of this house. 15 minutes full stage.
A poor act from the fact that the animals are not properly trained, and cause bad breaks and hitches; otherwise it would be an excellent performance as the ideas introduced are novel and interesting, and the amount of material is not lacking. Full stage; time 14 minutes.
23 min. full stage. In the afternoon they held the audience wonderfully well, but the act received a black eye through the refusal of the animals to work with their usual alacrity, one that is supposed to cross the stage on the tops of bottles positively refusing to do so.
