14 minutes f.s. This is one of the best animal acts we have played. The dogs work well and their automobile stunt is a scream.
13 min. F.S. Comedian and soubrette in child’s costume and two dogs. Small line of talk and some vocal work which received fair applause. The dogs are only fairly well trained. No an act for a strong spot, in fact, just got by as an opener.
Fair dog act. Did not take well with our audience. 12 minutes. Full stage.
Man and woman in Russian peasant dress do some dancing and acrobatics in which three dog play a part, making an unusually excellent opening number.
One of the best acts of the kind that we play, which is enhanced by Mr. Wormwood’s extreme neatness of attire.
Time 14. F.S. Elephant, horse, pony. 1 man, 1 woman, while Gruber follows out a more or less conventional line of work there is a rapidity and polish to the act that elevates it out of the ordinary. The act made a very pleasing impression here at the opening matinee.
This act made a very good opener and went big all the way through. Proved an excellent laugh getter and finished strong. 14 minutes, garden in 3.
10 minutes full stage. This is the worst animal act we have ever played.
Elephant, horse and pony. Splendid animal performance. One of the best.
18 min. F.S. This is a mighty good act to close the show. There are six stallions and two other trained horses who make a beautiful appearance and perform various evolutions, all of which pleased the audience and got big applause. Horses show rare intelligence and long training.
