Hayes & Healy

In their new act ‘The Clerk and the Bell Boy.’ The ludicrous contrast of their appearance held up the audience in a mood of expectancy, but they did nothing worthwhile until reaching the finish in which the midget gives a funny imitation of a circus rider. Full stage, 16 min.

Robert Hilliard & Co.

‘Number 973.’ The best pathetic sketch seen in this house for many a day. Audience was held breathless until the finish, when they greeted Hilliard and his company with storms of applause and repeated curtain calls. Not only the hit of the bill but the hit of the season. Full stage, 24 min.

Prelle’s Talking Dogs

A novel animal act in which the dogs are disguised as people and by ventriloquism seem to talk. Act amused the audience and held it to the finish. 12 min, full stage.

“Gibson Girls”

Several tableaux are given in which the statuesque girls step out of the famous black-and-white Gibson pictures to good effect.
