Hunting and Francis

The act was fourteen minutes long. Hunting and Francis are a male and female song and dance team. The woman is the straight for the man in eccentric makeup. For the finish, the man does an acrobatic dance.

Pearl Trio

This Russian Dancing act was nine minutes long. A middle-aged man and a boy and a girl do fast Russian dancing. The younger two are likely the man’s children. The girl sings well and dances while the boy does pirouettes.

Mrs. Stuart Robson & Co.

The act was eighteen minutes long on the full stage. Mrs. Robson and company perform a farce in which Mrs. Robson plays a big wife who “bullyraggs” her husband. One scene is a direct duplicate of Charles Bigelow and Eva Davenport’s “Papa’s Wife” from a deacde earlier.

Hunter and Chappelle

This “Song and Sidewalk Talk” act was eighteen minutes long. Two African American men sing and talk. One is the straight man and the other is eccentric. The straight man tries to get the other man’s money to bet at the racetrack. The curtain is then lowered and a “moving film” appears, which shows the two at the track. “They continue the conversation during the picture, keeping accurate time to the gestures.”
