Spencer & Williams

18 min. Man and woman in comedy and song. The fellow does a lot of nut stuff and the girl is a good helper. The act got plenty of laughs and finished to a good hand.

Josephine Victor & Co.

“Maid of France.” 22 min. One of the most interesting and picturesque war sketches we have played and easily one of the biggest hits. It is entirely different from anything else offered and splendidly played by Miss Victor in the role of Joan of Are and four men in the roles of soldiers of the Allies. There is just enough comedy injected in the dialogue to lighten up the sketch and it scored solidly.

Margaret Young

17 min. This is her first appearance and she held her spot in splendid shape. She sang several songs, two or three in character and all but one of them now. She had no trouble in getting liberal applause with each number and was brought back for an extra encore.

Hugh Herbert & Co.

“The Lemon.” 19 min. This is a new skit with the author playing the principal role. Two men are employed and the story is a business transaction does in character comedy with a sentimental finished. It proved a good laugh-winner and closed to a good hand.

Stagpole & Spier

9 min. Man and woman in comedy talk and dancing. The man is a very clever dancer and acrobat and his eccentric stepping amused the audience as well as winning several rounds of applause. The woman does little more than feed the man’s comedy, but the act proved a good sized hit.

The Act Beautiful

11 min. The remarkable posing of the dogs and horse makes it a very interesting as well as a pretty novelty and it furnished a very good opener.

Seabury & Shaw

15 min. A very high-class dancing act, prettily staged and dressed. Six numbers splendidly executed, the man being an exceptionally clever eccentric stepper and in the closing position, the act went big.

Hussey & Worsley

16 min. They have a big laugh-winner in their new military skit that is filled with funny dialogue. Hussey’s new songs brought a riot of laughter and the act closed to a big hand.

Franklin & Green

27 min. First appearance after a long absence and just as big as hit as ever. All her songs are new and as good as she has ever offered here. Mr. Green won individual honors with his piano selections. Won plenty of applause and took several bows after an encore number.

Jim & Marian Harkins

17 min. Local act and repeated same big laughing act as on former visits. Very little change except in songs. Harkins’ comedy kept them laughing and the act closed strong.
