The sketch was evidently constructed to allow Mr. Weston to simulate his well known "drunk" and Miss Lynch to assist at the finish with her "loose" contortions. Weston handles most of the dialogue. He plays the well "soused" husband who arrives home late in the morning, his wife, Lynch, waiting for him. A feature of the act is a wrestling bout which is performed well by Weston alone.
Weston, well known as a pantomimist, does not seem uncomfortable with the dialogue. The act could stand some rehearsing with a well experienced stage manager. Moreover, the "drunk" could secure more laughs if he fell more often. There is also more room for Miss Lynch to employ her eccentric humor.
