J. Royer West and Ida Van Siclen have developed their present offering, "The Apology," over several months. While it is a musical act, the manipulation of instruments is the real feature. The introduction of comedy makes this a well-rounded act. The actors take turns apologizing for the other not appearing; each promising to deliver the act on their own.
It would only be better if Miss Van Siclin made an announcement after West comes on stage to repeat the same apology. Once they have started the act is speedy and routine.
