She has a pleasing presence and style, but is not giving her personal appearance sufficient attention, either in make-up, costuming or dressing her hair. Miss Moore’s face on Tuesday evening seemed to have had rouge placed on each side, extending in a circle from her eyebrows to mouth and ear.
One song "Jennie," announced by Montgomery as having been written by him, is sung by the girl with the vocal tricks of Eddie Leonard's. It scored a pronounced hit, as did the dancing which followed.
Mr. Montgomery plays the piano to the audience's satisfaction, and Miss Moore sings and dances.
With due attention to details, the couple will have a pleasing number for any house.
