Violini

Violini is the latest of the "ragtime" violinists to strike New York. He is young and of foreign appearance.
His first straight and "rag" selections withered away. After not receiving an applause, he played a medley of Harry Von Tilzer's "raggy" songs which garnered him a real encore.
He is comparable to Rinaldo but never reaches the same class of the former. He is a good violinist when playing "straight." However, he lacks showmanship and the stage presence required of him. As a "rag" artist he ranks low on the list. He cannot hope to go beyond the "small time."
