"The Queen of the Movies" made her vaudeville debut singing four numbers. All of the numbers are ballads, with a slow tempo and very suggestive of musical comedy style. She also has a special musical director.
She should have opened at the Majestic in Chicago for she is popular there and her style would have been met with favor. Her ability remains unquestioned, but so far she lacks the big time speed.
