Then came Val and Ernie Stanton, recently out of the May Irwin show, the boys going over for an easy hit. The Stantons wore spats, so did Halligan, in fact everybody in the show seemed to be wearing them. Maybe it was propaganda for 23d street. The Stantons brand of fun drew the
laughs and the semi-musical finish was liked enough to bring them out for a dance encore.
