Theodore Friebus is a stock lead. He was engaged by the Academy management in the hope that his name and subsequent presence in tab dramatics would bolster up business. It's silly sure enough and sillier are the antics of Friebus. It is no role for a leading man, but Friebus was in his old stamping ground and it didn't matter apparently. The supporting company was on a par with the piece.
