The Venetian Trio

Location:
Date:
YRR 2. I booked this act under the impression that it was an act something after the style of the Three Dumonds, but it developed that it was three Italians dressed in national costume, one of them playing a violin, another a guitar, and the third a mandolin. The violinist is pretty good, although his selection this afternoon was badly chosen, and two of them are very good vocalists. It was not, however, what I expected it to be, and I reduced their salary one half and allowed them to stay the rest of the week at three shows a day. In its present shape it would not do for other houses. 11 minutes in one.
