Not until the wife discovers her husband has made a mistake on his time sheet, and is sending two trains to a head-on collision does the action quicken. From then on there is excitement in plenty. The time spent at the beginning talking to the baby might be utilized to better advantage by giving a clearer idea of the circumstances leading up to the opening.
Adeline Dunlap as the wife gives a creditable performance. So does Richard Garrick, the husband, although his enunciation at the opening should be more distinct. His voice is hardly audible beyond the first two rows of the orchestra in the early part.
