The act of Scottish lads and lassies was the headliner. The band plays in center stage. They were accompanied by a Scottish comedienne who performed during their costume changes. She wore a comedian costume “that couldn’t hide her corking good figure”.
The music and comedy were both remarkably well-done, even if the act wasn't laid out well. "If some song writers would take a day off and study these soft, smooth Scotch melodies, they might pick up an idea or two how to turn out a number with appealing music".
