The straight man of the Kimball Brothers contributes a ballad or two and pleases with an agreeable tenor voice, but the comedian does not help a great deal.
He employs a quantity of comedy business which has been in use these many years by a newsboy quartet.
Such of the talk as got across the footlights was not particularly interesting or funny, and the offering was rewarded with only a fair amount of applause. What reception the pair did get was due to the “straight” man's voice.
