They have five changes, but the costumes, are badly worn and untidy.
The Alabama Comedy Four do exceedingly well with a series of singing numbers and comedy of the simon-pure plantation order. There is no inclination on the art of the men to be “polite entertainers.” They seem content “not to be what they ain't to be what they is,” in the words of the “coon” song, and therein lies their value.
