The stage is set with two houses side by side: one a preacher’s, flying the confederate flag. The other a northerner’s flying the American flag.
Both the drama and humor "pleased immensely at the Union".
"It will never be a riot", but it is still a good piece for a patriotic audience. In the hands of another troupe, the sketch would be dull, but the present group handles it wonderfully.
