The first of three scenes shows London. The lights are manipulated so that one has a a view of the city during a rain storm, daybreak and moonlight. However, the producer forgot to light up the city when nightfall came. The second drop displayed Leicester Square. Two women, one impersonating a man entered. With a transparent umbrella they did a scene that was neither new or novel. They appeared later, before another drop, singing "Come, Josephine in My Flying Machine."
The house did not realize the act was over until the houselights flickered.
The offering, evidently from London, would hardly fit into the "small time" for his has no redeeming feature. While the lighting effects may be an exception, the Majestic audience does not find novelty in electrical effects. Backdrops, no matter how pretty, will never carry over a vaudeville act in this country. The act made a weak closer for the Majestic bill.
