The act was fourteen minutes long. A man and woman do comedic opera songs and some crossfire talk. They open with a duet and the woman does a recitative ballad and another comedy song. For the finale, they sing a “Toreador” travesty duet.
"The audience seemed to feel instinctively they were superior to the average performers playing small time and showed their appreciation by hearty applause."
The singers have well-trained voices and a good stage presence. If they bring more of a "vaudeville atmosphere" to their act, they could make good on the big time.
