In the trick work, it seems
Mr. Piper is concluding with a less showy
feat (playing and juggling four instruments)
than his whirling of seven earlier.
Piper's best is the rapid spinning of two, playing both simultaneously. Each trick,
though, brought voluminous applause.
Several bows were taken by him
before consenting to play the "Pilgrim's
Chorus" from "Tannhauser." They liked
that, as well.
