25 min. F.S. This act is based on Lasky’s former success but is not nearly as big a hit. The voices are good, the piano-playing, likewise and the selection of songs all new. But the costuming and stage setting of the act are not up to the Lasky standard. However, the applause was liberal for individual work and the fat comedian particularly got a good hand for his original coon song, kidding himself on his weight. Made a good finish. It seems a pity for the sake of a few dollars to let an act go back as this one has.
