Phil Staat's enormous size- the programme announced him to weigh 300 pounds, and he looked every ounce of this weight- was good for a hearty laugh from the audience on his entrance. His dialogue for the most part is new and kept the audience amused.
The big fellow is clever, entertaining and an excellent pianist.
