Pauline has stirred the natives over that way with a public sleep exhibition in which he put a man to bed for eight hours in a show window opposite the theatre. The crowd spoke of nothing else but Pauline as they were leaving about twenty minutes before midnight.
At one point there was 26 subjects on stage when the hypnotic expert stated the Bushwick boys on the "experiments."
Many times during his fifty-five minutes on stage, Pauline had to stop and tell the audience not to laugh so much at certain points. He caused a regulation uproar all the way through the act.
