There is a drop showing the deck of a ship. Three of the men wear ordinary white sailors’ outfits while the other is dressed as an officer.
The quartet of young men is gathering a reputation in the popular houses. They open with a medley and close with “I’m Going Back to My Old Girl.” The German sailor provides the comedy and two solos are offered, the bass drawing the most applause.
While their singing is strong enough to carry them, their comedy could use some rearranging. A little personality in the solos would help the effect.
