Naval Trio

The boys dress neatly, one as an officer, another as a seaman (both “straight”) and another seaman who does German comedy.
The German "seaman" has taken the monologues of Cliff Gordon and Billy K. Weiis and pieced them together. The audience became aware of the "copy" and applauded him off.
The basic foundation of the act is new, but the early favor they found with the audience was quickly lost. The novelty could not save them from a lack of management. The "officer," who is a high bass, should attempt a baritone solo rather than the lower key song, "Asleep in the Deep," as it is out of his range. The tenor is quite capable and should be allowed to finish his solo without harmony interruption.
