She is a very young girl. The experience she is getting now may do her better than all the advice that could be dished out. She has personality and a pleasing delivery, but her material is poor. Music-box imitations are considered obsolete, in fact any trick playing by a girl after the many men working the piano is little more than useless. Myrtle will have to stay on the small time for a while. In the meantime she should try and secure some songs of the Willa Holt Wakefield variety. It would not be a bad idea to ask Miss Wakefield to use some of her old material.
