Something new in instrumental
line (and from which a very good effect
resulted) was the playing on what appeared to be an ordinary plate glass disk.
It might come under the xylophone head,
although there is a much better tone
produced, besides the novelty.
Although
opening the show at the new Bronx, the
Musical Fredericks did very well.
