“As a Man Sows”: 23 min. F.S. 2 shows. This is one of the very best sketches in all the range of Vaudeville. It is highly dramatic from start to finish, is logical and written on a high plans. Hilliard received a good advance hand and his work showed that he was right in form. There was not a full moment. The working up to the climax was immense. Hilliard received four curtain calls, showing that he had created the impression. Splendid feature in any house. The stage-setting was so striking and beautiful as to receive a hand on the rise of the curtain.
